On 06-11-2009 on Timber Heights there was a burglary during the mid-day time frame. A computer game console was stolen. Additionally, approximately 2 weeks prior there was another home burglary where another computer game console was stolen (believed also to be during the mid-day time frame. Please keep an eye out for your neighbors, and suspicious people, this includes young highschool age people. Both homes were entered through a back window, and only those items noted were taken. Talk to your neighbors and let people know to be aware

Good advice, indeed. Parents also need to take responsibility for their own kids, and take the time to teach them basic principles about hard work and respecting other peoples' property. It's really not that hard to go through life without committing a felony, so I have absolutely zero sympathy for people who can't manage to do that.
My house was broken into over the weekend on Day Camp Lane. They went in through the side gate and back door. They took electronics and such. Did anyone else have issues this weekend or see anything suspicious on Day Camp Lane or the area?
Stay in tune to the crime going on in our neighborhood. Get alerts and contact neighbors who may have been affected. Just another way for us to stay in touch with each other on the happenings of our neighborhood.
There is a suspicious car that has been parked by the mail box for at least 15 min if not longer. There are 4 guys just sitting in the vehicle. The mail box off of long rifle drive
Our APD District Representative, Officer Kianes, has advised us (residents) to call 911 when we see suspicicous vehicles or persons. They would rather come check it out and possibly prevent a crime, and maybe even catch persons with outstanding warrants or stolen property. It's their job and they've told us to do it.
Make a note of as much detail as possible (make/model/color of vehicle, license plate#, number and description of persons in the car, etc.) and call it in. Please don't worry about bothering them. And if someone has a legitimate reason for parking in front of a mailbox area for an extended period of time, then they have nothing to worry about.
If you have any of that information, please post it here or send it to the neighborhood watch email list and call 311 to give them the details. PCW has been hit hard the last couple of weeks, could be the same ones.
911 is for things that are happening now.
311 is for things that have already happened.
Thanks,
Michelle
