Is anyone else having wasp and yellow jacket problems in their home? I have both :(
I have seen a number of Mud Dauber wasps in my garage, shed, and even in the yard, but nothing inside the house. Are you certain they are Yellow Jackets? There are Mud Dauber wasps with yellow markings, but they should be pretty easy to distinguish because the Mud Daubers ave a very thin waist and yellow jackets are fatter like a bee. Mud Daubers are not as aggressive or dangerous as Yellow Jackets and they are predators of spiders, but I find their dirt nests to be somewhat of a nuisance and it is quite unnerving to have one buzzing around you while you are poking around in the garage or shed!
