I was curious about the involvement on the website. There is approximately 28 User Accounts/People registered, I think, to the Pioneer Crossing Website. Would it be possible to send out a mass email to all those who have attended the HOA meetings, to get some additional involvement awareness. I would assume there are more than 10 percent of the population in the community that have internet accounts, and I thought we might try to get at least that looking at the website.
Additionally, are there going to be any meetings of the committees (any of them) in the near future? I have spoken with some of my neighbors about the subject and was curious as to whether there was a scheduled meeting (Quarterly, Bi-Annual, Annual, etc.) If so, can they be put on the calendar. Maybe it's the hot weather, it does tend to make one sluggish and not want to get out, but it has cooled down and even RAINED....!
: ^) Just checking...
Yall take care

I still need to get the mailing lists set up, but it's certainly on the list of things to do. I'm sure that would help with the communication issues. Personally, I think the forums are a much better place for ongoing communications, but not everybody knows about them or how to use them. So, a mailing list (or just an announcement list) might help to get the ball rolling.
I haven't heard of any meetings, but I'm only involved with the Communications Committee. Since these are all volunteer groups, things tend to be slow moving though. The best thing you can do is to directly contact the Committee Chairs and go from there. I'll modify the Board and Committees page to include a way to contact each of the people listed there.

The lead article in the forthcoming newsletter is about our new web site. We're hoping that this encourages more of our neighbors to check out this great resource --- and to register!
The board is also about to start having its monthly meetings at Pioneer Farms. This should make it easier for our neighbors to bring their concerns to our attention. In the near future, we'll post more information about the next meeting.
